Our Presenters


Mary DiCamillo, EdD, MT-BC, Doula (DONA) is the founder and Clinical Training Director of Sound Birthing Music. This training program grew out of Mary’s extensive doctoral and post-doctoral work in Pre and Peri-Natal Music Therapy.   A leader in this field, Mary has a passion for sharing this work and helping to bring babies into the world in the most peaceful way possible.  Mary is a master trainer of the Sound Birthing Music Workshops and a Pre and Peri-Natal Music Therapist. She is a contributing member of APPPAH (The Association for Pre and Perinatal Pscyhology and Health).  She serves on the Board of Directors of the Certification Board for Music Therapists.   Mary also works as a consultant, speaker, teacher and musician. 

Lillieth Grand, MS, MT-BC has been a music therapist for over 20 years. She has assisted many women in childbirth and worked with couples prenatally.  Lillieth is a MTACB Specialist and Creative Arts Birthing Specialist, has worked in the Sound Birthing Group Music Therapy Practice and is a Master Trainer for Sound Birthing.  Lillieth has held multiple positions with the Western Region of AMTA and is currently Vice President and Conference Chair.  She currently has a private practice Milestone Music Therapy working with children and families in the Portland, Oregon area.

Cathy O’Neil MT-BC is a music therapist who works at both ends of the life spectrum, assisting in births and providing end of life care. She also provides care to women and their families who are awaiting the birth of a child that is not expected to survive. She has been a Master Trainer of the Sound Birthing Music methods of MTACB and Creative Arts Birthing since 2001.  She is committed to celebrating life and living it fully. She teaches preschool music, plays with a new grandson, performs in a community choir, and directs a senior ukulele group. She has two grown sons and has been married to their Dad for over 35 years.
