Host a Sound Birthing Music Workshop

  1. Select a date and location for your workshop with Mary DiCamillo, Sound Birthing Continuing Education Director.
  1. Provide a meeting space for the workshop with AV- whether it be at your workplace, church, university, community center or in your home.  (AV requirements are a working TV monitor and DVD player.)
  1. Invite participants from your region to join your workshop. (See course pre-requisites and course descriptions for more information).   Online registration for your workshop will be posted on this blog at
  1. Round up a minimum of 5 professionals in your region ASAP to attend the workshop (Note:  a Minimum of 15 is required for the one day Music for Birth workshop).  When there are 5 registered and paid professionals (not including students or yourself) your presenter will book her accommodations and we will confirm that the course will be offered. The workshop must have the minimum number of registrants within 30 days prior to the workshop date in order for it to be confirmed.
  1. Post recommendations for lodging and restaurants on the blog for out of town participants.
  1. Provide Ground transportation to the presenter during the workshop
